Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0284696A1] 1. A metal fabric formed by assembling rectangular metal plates (10) with rounded short sides (80), assembled by means of welded metal connecting rings (20) which pass through connecting perforations (30) provided for this purpose in the region of the corners of the plates (10), the said plates being aligned in accordance with a plurality of parallel and partially superimposed rows (50, 60), always in the same direction, and each connecting ring (20) serving to assemble four different plates (10) in the region of the adjacent corners of the plates, said metal fabric being characterised in that each plate (10) comprises at least four linking perforations (11) similar to the connecting perforations (30) and distributed between the latter so as to define, on each plate (10), two rows (12, 13) of similar perforations each arranged in parallel with a long side (90) of the plate, two adjacent linking perforations (11) situated in one and the same row (12, 13) of a plate (10) in each case being connected to two adjacent linking perforations (11) located in one and the same row (13, 12) of the directly adjacent plate (10) by means of a linking ring (14) similar to the connecting rings (20) and passing through these four perforations (11).
