The holder comprises at least one carrying structure made from paper which may consist, in particular, of a strip of paper forming a bracelet (4) intended to hold a watch (12). This design is provided to afford a cheap solution to problems arising from rapid fluctuations in fashion in this field and by the substantial reduction in the cost of timepieces and the public's craze for novelty jewellery. <IMAGE>
