Below the mounting plate (19) is a vertical eyelet (25) into which a ceiling hook (14) can be placed. The eyelet (25) is bounded by a retaining ring (22), into which a rod (17) on which the lamp hangs can be screwed. Zum Aufhängen von Hängeleuchten werden nach dem Stand der Technik unterschiedliche Aufhängevorrichtungen benutzt, in Abhängigkeit davon, ob die Aufhängung an einem Deckenhaken (14) oder unmittelbar an der Decke (11) erfolgen soll. Die Erfindung löst die Aufgabe, eine Aufhängevorrichtung zu schaffen, die zur wahlweisen Anbringung an einem Deckenhaken (14) oder unmittelbar an der Decke (11) geeignet ist. Nach der Erfindung ist ein Aufhängebügel (15) vorgesehen, der eine unmittelbar an der Decke zu befestigende Montageplatte (19) aufweist. Unterhalb der Montageplatte (19) befindet sich eine vertikale Öse (25) zum Einhängen eines Deckenhakens (14). Die Öse (25) wird von einem Haltering (22) begrenzt, in den eine Stange (17), an der die Leuchte hängt, eingeschraubt werden kann. Alternativ zur Stange (17) kann ein Seil verwendet werden, das durch Bohrungen (29) des Aufhängebügels (19) verläuft und zwei herunterhängende Abschnitte aufweist, an denen das Leuchtengehäuse mit einem Gehäusehalter angebracht wird.
