Bei einem Verfahren zum Bearbeiten des Speicherinhalts eines Bildwiederholspeichers, in dem die Speicherworte mindestens einer Bildzeile mit einer gemeinsamen Speicherzeilenadresse und jeweils einer Speicherspaltenadresse adressierbar sind, erfolgt die Bearbeitung mindestens der zu verändernden Speicherworte einer Bildzeile paketweise, wozu beim Lese- und/oder Schreibzugriff für diese Bildzeile eine einzige Speicherzeilenadressierung und eine wortweise Speicherspaltenadressierung durchgeführt wird.
