This light construction core has several surface elements (3) which are fixedly connected to one another and extend in the longitudinal direction, one surface element (3) consisting of a corrugated layer (2) and a smooth layer (1) arranged perpendicular to a pressure-loaded surface (5). In order to ensure a high pressure absorption capacity and, at the same time, to guarantee good dynamic characteristics with high resistance to torsion, the axes (6) of the hollow spaces of the surface elements (3) form an angle ( alpha 1; alpha 2; alpha 3) of 89 DEG to 45 DEG with the pressure-loaded surface (5), said axes (6) of the hollow spaces of the surface elements (3) being inclined relative to one another in opposite directions. <IMAGE>

Dieser Leichtbaukern weist mehrere, untereinander fest verbundene und in seiner Längsrichtung sich erstreckende Flächenelemente (3) auf, wobei ein Flächenelement (3) aus einer vertikal zu einer druckbelasteten Oberfläche (5) angeordneten glatten Lage (1) und einer gewellten Lage (2) besteht. Zur Sicherung eines hohen Druckaufnahmevermögens und zur gleichzeitigen Gewährleistung guter dynamischer Kennwerte bei einer hohen Torsionssteifigkeit bilden die Hohlraumachsen (6) der Flächenelemente (3) mit der druckbelasteten Oberfläche (5) einen Winkel (α1; α2; α3) von 89° bis 45°, wobei die Hohlraumachsen (6) der Flächenelemente (3) zueinander in entgegengesetzter Richtung geneigt sind.
