[origin: EP0284997A2] An electrical connecting piece as a bushing for cooling systems having metallic conductor pins which pass through a key-like steel base body and are held thereon by means of an insulating material, is intended to be capable of production without intensive initial or final treatment and, furthermore, to be non-corrosive. To this end, the base body (12) is formed from a tempered, austenitic steel strip whose alloy is essentially molybdenum-free and contains less than 0.07% carbon, approximately 18% chromium and more than 9% nickel.
