Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0285229A2] This hinge intended especially for doors has a frame hinge part (1) to be fastened to the frame and a leaf hinge part (2) which is to be fastened to the leaf and which is connected pivotably to the frame hinge part (1) and is composed of an abutment part (5) fixable to the leaf and of an adjustment part (6), the adjustment part (6) being guided displaceably relative to the abutment part (5) at right angles to the hinge axis (7), being continuously adjustable by means of a threaded spindle (8) supported against the abutment part (5) and accessible from outside, being lockable after adjustment and being equipped with one of the two joint parts (3 or 4). To simplify the assembly and to ensure that the leaf hinge part can be loaded even before the alignment and fixing of the adjustment part, the abutment part (5) is designed as an angle part which can be laid against one edge of the leaf by means of two legs (9, 10) arranged essentially at right angles to one another, and the adjustment part (6) has long holes (11) extending at right angles to the hinge axis (7) and intended for receiving screws (12) retaining the adjustment part (6) on the abutment part (5) and locking it by tightening. <IMAGE>
