Vehicle for laying sections of railway track comprising a chassis mounted on two bogies, said chassis carrying two pairs of side uprights supporting a travelling jib equipped with a hoist carriage which allows sections of track loaded on the chassis to be transferred and laid in front of the vehicle on a track deck, characterised in that the chassis (3) is articulated on the bogies (8) by means (16, 17, 18, 19) enabling adjustment of the relative angle between the chassis and the bogies to compensate for the tilt of the track deck, such that the lifting pulleys of the hoist carriage (5) are always disposed vertically with respect to the theoretical axis of the track, the hoist carriage (5) remaining perfectly horizontal.
