[origin: US4831220A] A high-voltage compressed-gas circuit breaker having a filter accommodated in a separate housing for the purification of the gas in the gas space of the circuit breaker. For easy accessibility, the housing of the filter is attached at the housing of the corner gear of the operating mechanism. The material of the filter is retained in the filter housing by a perforated metal sheet. In certain embodiments, the filter housing has a rupture plate which is locates below a vertically extending perforated tube that is centrally arranged in the filter housing. Underneath the rupture plate, a housing lid is provided for deflecting possibly escaping switching gases.

Elektrische Druckgas-Hochspannungs-Leistungsschalter weisen zur Reinigung des Gases in dem Gasraum des Schalters in einem gesonderten Gehäuse (8) untergebrachte Filter (9) auf. Zur leichten Zugänglichkeit ist das Gehäuse (8) des Filters (9) unten am Gehäuse des Umlenkgetriebes befestigt. Das Material des Filters (9) ist mittels eines perforierten Bleches (10) festgelegt. Das Filtergehäuse (8) kann mit einer Brechplatte (14) kombiniert sein. In diesem Fall liegt die Brechplatte (14) unterhalb eines mittigen im Gehäuse (8) des Filters (9) vertikal verlaufenden perforierten Rohres (18). Unterhalb der Brechplatte (14) ist ein Gehäusedeckel (15) zur Umleitung der eventuell austretenden Schaltgase vorgesehen.
