Abstract (en)
The process and apparatus measure the temperature (TV) in the airstream at the input of the evaporator (5) and the temperature (T15) at the refrigerant output of the evaporator. A difference ( DELTA TA) existing between these two temperatures is compared with a comparative value ( DELTA TA'). The defrosting process is introduced, when this difference becomes higher than the comparative value ( DELTA TA') and this increase lasts for at least a predetermined time ( DELTA t). In order that the defrosting process takes place only according to demand, i.e. only when a temperature difference of for example more than 15 K exists over the predetermined time ( DELTA t) between incoming air and evaporator output, only two temperature sensors (14, 15) being necessary for detecting the temperatures (TV, T15). <IMAGE>

Ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur temperaturabhängigen Bedarfsabtauung von Kühlanlagen mißt die Temperatur (TV) im Luftstrom am Eingang des Verdampfers (5) und die Temperatur (T15) am Kühlmittelausgang des Verdampfers. Eine zwischen diesen beiden Temperaturen vorhandene Differenz (Δ TA) wird einem Vergleichswert (Δ TA') verglichen. Der Abtauvorgang wird eingeleitet, wenn diese Differenz höher wird als der Vergleichswert (Δ TA') und diese Erhöhung mindestens eine vorgegebene Zeitdauer (Δ t) anhält. Damit erfolgt der Abtauvorgang bedarfsabhängig, d.h. nur dann, wenn über die vorgegebene Zeit (Δ t) eine Temperaturdifferenz zwischen Zuluft und Verdampferausgang von beispielsweise mehr als 15 K existiert, wobei lediglich zwei Temperaturfühler (14, 15) zur Erfassung der Temperaturen (TV, T15) nötig sind.
