The device (1) for communicating with other people by means of optical signals, has a fastener in the form of a brooch pin (2) or the like and several electric illumination bodies of different colours which can be switched on optionally. In this case, at least two or three electrical illumination bodies are arranged in a row, preferably one below the other in the position of use, to simulate a set of traffic lights, the first or top illumination body (4) being red, the last or lowest illumination body (6) being green and a central illumination body (5), if present, being yellow (Figure 1). <IMAGE>

Eine Vorrichtung (1) zur Kommunikation mit Mitmenschen mittels optischer Signale weist eine Halterung in Form einer Anstecknadel (2) oder dergleichen und mehrere elektrische wahlweise einschaltbare Leuchtkörper unterschiedlicher Farbe auf. Dabei sind wenigstens zwei oder drei elektrische Leuchtkörper zum Simulieren einer Straßenverkehrsampel in einer Reihe, in Gebrauchsstellung vorzugsweise untereinander angeordnet, wobei der erste oder oberste Leuchtkörper (4) rot, der letzte oder unterste Leuchtkörper (6) grün und ein gegebenenfalls vorhandener mittlerer Leuchtkörper (5) gelb sind (Fig. 1).
