Abstract (en)
Grate comprising stationary elements (21) supporting a material with a relatively large surface area, and moving elements (12) offering a relatively small contact area to the material. Air channels (29) are provided inside the stationary elements (21) for cooling the stationary elements (21) and for feeding combustion air to outlets (33). Projections (35) provided in an upper portion of the moving elements (12) leave the outlets (33) free in the restposition of the moving elements (12).
