The lead parking station (2) comprises first and second jaw wheels (12 and 16) each having a loading position (LP) for receiving a series of leads (L) and a lead sorting and discharge position (DP) for sorting the leads, to present them in a predetermined order to the block loading station, which sequentially loads terminals (T) on the leads (L) into individual terminal receiving cavities (TC) of the connector blocks (B) supported at a block loading position (BP) at the block support station (6).
