[origin: EP0286432A2] An electric relay which comprises the assembly of a bobbin assembly (21, 24) of electrically insulating and non-magnetic material which includes a central passage for a magnetic core (22) and an integral mounting for fixed contacts (25) and coil tags (26), coil carried by the assembly (21, 24) coaxially with the central passage, a unitary core and field piece assembly (22, 23) which is secured to the bobbin assembly by spring washer (37) with the core (22) extending through the central passage, and an armature (27) carrying the moving contacts (31) and which is pivotally supported on the field piece of the core and field piece assembly.
