Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0286467A1] Device for guaranteeing water-imperviousness inside the modular structure of a bungalow. It consists of a box (2) situated at each corner of the bungalow. Longitudinal gutters collecting rainwater end up in these boxes (2). These same boxes (2) each have two rectangular openings in the bottom fixed to the box by impervious welding. In either one of these two openings a rectangular tube (8) is fixed by impervious welding. This tube (8) is flush with the upper level of the bottom and functions as a principal water downspout in the intermediate element into which it penetrates. A rectangular tube (9) is fixed by impervious welding into the other opening of the bottom of the box (2). This tube (9) extends beyond the upper level of the bottom of the box (2) by a height of 45 mm and thus acts as overflow outlet while providing a guard making it possible to trap rubbish which might have obstructed the principal downspout, thus enabling the water contained in the box (2) to escape and be drained away to the ground. This tube (9) functions as an emergency rainwater downspout in the intermediate element into which it penetrates, the imperviousness of the bungalow thus being preserved. <IMAGE>
