[origin: EP0286627A2] Device for warning work gangs, in which control instructions are transmitted from the control unit circuit (3) as a work gang warning to an external system (2) on the work site side by means of an internal system (1) on the control unit side and the safety station transmits an acknowledgement from the external system to the internal system after the safety measures have been carried out on the work site. The worker gang is protected in a manner which is secure in terms of signalling technology by the exit or blocking signal (30) controlled by the internal system (1). A control instruction, initiated by the station master, for the exit or blocking signal (30), is only triggered by the acknowledgement of the safety station. <IMAGE>
