Abstract (en)
The folder, which is produced from a rigid insert, particularly of cardboard, and has a plastic coating, is characterised in that the plastic is polypropylene and/or polyethylene and is directly applied to the moving paper support (Fig 2) through a wide-aperture nozzle (Fig 1), continuously and in the liquid state (pigmented or unpigmented). The paper support coated with the polypropylene and/or polyethylene plastic is applied to the outside of the insert (Fig 3) and can terminate with open edges on the insert (Fig 4) or be drawn over the edges onto the inside of the insert (Fig 5). Conventionally, the inside is also coated with a paper/PP (or PE) combination. The product is further characterised in that the plastic coating consists of a printed or unprinted sheet of paper which is coated with liquid polypropylene or polyethylene with a variable weight per unit area (for example, 20-60 g per square metre). <IMAGE>

Mappe, insbesondere Muster-, Werbe- oder Angebotsmappe für Büro-, Werbe- und Schulbedarf, die aus einer steifen Einlage, insbesondere aus Pappe hergestellt ist und einen Kunststoffüberzug besitzt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kunststoff Polypropylen und/oder Polyethylen aus einem Extruder über eine Breitschlitzdüse (Fig. 1) kontinuierlich in flüssigem Zustand (gefärbt oder ungefärbt) direkt auf den laufenden Papierträger aufgetragen wird (Fig. 2). Der mit dem Kunststoff Polypropylen und/oder Polyethylen beschichtete Papierträger wird auf die Außenseite der Einlage aufgezogen (Fig. 3), er kann auf der Einlage mit offenen Kanten abschließen (Fig. 4) oder über die Kanten bis auf die Innenseite der Einlage gezogen werden (Fig. 5). Üblicherweise wird auch die Innenseite mit einer Papier/PP (alternativ PE) Kombination versehen. Das Produkt ist weiters dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kunststoffüberzug aus einem bedruckten oder unbedruckten Bogen Papier besteht, der mit im Flächengewicht variablen (zum Beispiel 20 - 60 g pro qm) flüssigem Polypropylen oder Polyethylen beschichtet wird.
