The driving device intended for a liquid metering pump essentially comprises a motor-driven eccentric cam (10) and a pump plunger (14) which can be displaced by the eccentric cam against the force of a recovery spring (12). Arranged between the motor shaft (24') and eccentric cam (10) is a gear mechanism (28, 28') with variable reduction and transmission ratio as a function of the angle of rotation of the motor shaft (24'). By these simple kinematic measures an improvement is obtained in the overall efficiency and hence a reduction in the rated output of the drive motor used for a given pumping capacity. <IMAGE>

Die für eine Flüssigkeitsdosierpumpe bestimmte Antriebsvorrichtung besteht im wesentlichen aus einem motorisch angetriebenen Exzenter (10) und einem durch den Exzenter entgegen der Kraft einer Rückholfeder (12) verschiebbaren Pumpenstößel (14). Zwischen Motorwelle (24') und Exzenter (10) ist ein Getriebe (28,28') mit variablem Unter- und Übersetzungsverhältnis in Abhängigkeit vom Drehwinkel der Motorwelle (24') angeordnet. Mit diesen einfachen kinematischen Vorkehrungen wird eine Verbesserung des Gesamtwirkungsgrads und damit bei gegebener Pumpleistung eine Reduzierung der Nennleistung des verwendeten Antriebsmotors erzielt.
