Oberhalb einer Vorschubeinrichtung (5) für die zu verleimenden Holzteile (6) ist ein Auftragsorgan (1) für den Leim angeordnet, bestehend aus einem quer zur Vorschubbahn sich erstreckenden zylindrischen Hohlkörper (7) mit einer oder mehreren Reihen von Austrittsöffnungen (8) und aus einem unterhalb der Öffnungen (8) angeordneten Leitorgan (9) für den daraus austretenden Leim. Am Leitorgan und/oder im Bereich des Leitorgans sind Luftstau verhindernde Einrichtungen (13) vorgesehen.
