[origin: JPS649143A] PURPOSE: To make possible monitoring for printer's malfunction by locating a reading head between a printer and a gripping cylinder to check the printing mechanism. CONSTITUTION: Reading head 10 is placed between a printer 8 and a gripping cylinder 5 to check for printer's 8 correct output to a specified area. If the reading head 10 is, for example, a camera, then checking can be done either for only correct printout or for both printout and print description. Removing pallet and the removed label can move precisely along the track, making it possible to monitor the operation of the printer 8. When the reading head 10 detects the inexistence of printout at the specified area, the output can be controlled through the signal wire 9.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Etikettiergerät mit einem Palettenrotor (2), der Palettenflächen (4) aufweist. Das Etikettiergerät besitzt ferner ein Etikettenmagazin (6) zum Zustellen von Etiketten an den Palettenrotor sowie einen Greiferzylinder (5), der die vom Palettenrotor dem Etikettenmagazin entnommenen Etiketten vom Palettenrotor abnimmt. Außerdem ist ein Druckwerk (8) vorhanden, das zwischen dem Etikettenmagazin und dem Greiferzylinder einen Aufdruck auf den Etiketten erstellt. Um ein fehlerhaftes Arbeiten des Druckwerks feststellen zu können, sieht die Erfindung vor, zwischen dem Druckwerk und dem Greiferzylinder einen Lesekopf (10) zur Überprüfung des Aufdrucks anzuordnen.
