[origin: EP0287047A2] The anchor for transporting building elements consists of a head part (1) for connecting the anchor to a lifting device and of a rod- like anchor shaft (2). The object of the invention is to further develop a transporting anchor of the type mentioned in such a way that it can be inserted in relatively thin building elements without the danger of being torn out laterally and in addition, by virtue of the preferred form of the transporting anchor, installation errors are ruled out from the outset. The object is achieved by the fact that the anchor shaft (2) possesses one or more pressed regions (3, 4). Each pressed region appears as a reduction in the thickness of the anchor shaft in one plane with a simultaneous increase in the width of the anchor shaft in the plane extending perpendicularly thereto. Most of the forces acting on the anchor are diverted via the pressed regions. <IMAGE>
