[origin: WO8703799A1] An orthopaedic table has a frame (7) which is vertically adjustable and tiltable about a transverse axis (A1). Two supporting members (16a, 16b) which are arranged after each other along the orthopaedic table for supporting a patient being treated can be inclined in relation to each other about a transverse axis (A5, A6). The supporting members (16a, 16b) are so articulated to the frame (7) that they are rotatable in relation to the frame both about a transverse axis (A5, A6) and about an axis (A4a, A4b) at right angles thereto and extending along the respective supporting member. The supporting members (16a, 16b) are connected at both sides to the frame (7) by connecting means (23) of adjustable length. Each connecting means is so articulated at one end to the supporting member (16a, 16b) that it is rotatable in relation thereto both about an axis (A7, A8) extending transversely of the supporting member, and about an axis (A10, A12) at right angles thereto. Each connecting means (23) is so articulated at its other end to the frame (7) that it is rotatable in relation thereto both about a transverse axis (A13, A14) and about an axis (A16, A17) at right angles thereto.

Une table orthopédique comprend une structure (17) réglable verticalement et inclinable autour d'un axe transversal (A1). Deux éléments de support (16a, 16b), disposés l'un après l'autre le long de la table afin de soutenir le patient, peuvent être inclinés l'un par rapport à l'autre autour d'un axe transversal (A5, A6). Les éléments de support (16a, 16b) sont articulés par rapport à la structure (7), de façon à pouvoir pivoter par rapport à la structure à la fois autour d'un axe transversal (A5, A6) et autour d'un axe (A4a, A4b) placée à angle droit par rapport à l'axe transversal et s'étendant le long de l'élément de support correspondant. Les éléments de support (16a, 16b) ont leurs deux côtés reliés à la structure (7) par des organes de liaison (23) de longueur réglable. Chaque organe de liaison est articulé à une extrémité par rapport à l'élément de support (16a, 16b), de telle sorte qu'il peut pivoter par rapport audit organe à la fois autour d'un axe (A7, A8) s'étendant transversalement par rapport à l'élément de support et autour d'un axe (A10, A12) placé à angle droit par rapport audit élément.
