The device extends over the full length of the plate cylinder and touches the latter in the region between the ink transfer to the rubber cylinder and application of the damping solution. By means of this device, safe, rapid and complete cleaning of the plate cylinder with the minimum of spoil is to be made available to the operator. In accordance with the invention, this is achieved by providing that over the full length of the plate cylinder a plurality of pneumatic cylinders (la - le) are arranged in distributed fashion, the piston rods (3) of which are secured against rotation and at their free end carry a wiper (10a - IOe) made of elastic material, each two adjacent wipers being offset relative to one another and overlapping laterally and the stroke of each piston rod being somewhat longer than the distance between the leading edge of the withdrawn wipers and the surface of the plate cylinder. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum Entfernen von Schmutzteilchen vom Plattenzylinder einer Offsetdruckmaschine, die sich über die gesamte Länge des Plattenzylinders erstreckt und an diesem in dem zwischen der Farbübergabe an den Gummizylinder und dem Feuchtauftrag befindlichen Bereich angreift. Durch diese Einrichtung soll eine für die Bedienungsperson gefahrlose, rasch und vollständig erfolgende Reinigung des Plattenzylinders bei minimalem Ausschußanteil ermöglicht werden. Erfindungsgemäß wird das dadurch erreicht, daß über die gesamte Länge des Plattenzylinders mehrere Pneumatikzylinder (1a-1e) verteilt angeordnet sind, deren verdrehgesicherte Kolbenstangen (3) an ihrem freien Ende einen Abstreifer (10a-10e) aus elastischem Werkstoff aufweisen, wobei je zwei benachbarte Abstreifer zueinander versetzt und seitlich überlappend angeordnet sind und der Hubweg jeder Kolbenstange etwas länger als der Abstand zwischen der Vorderkante der eingefahrenen Abstreifer und der Oberfläche des Plattenzylinders ist.
