Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0287944A2] The invention relates to a device for the elastic absorption of shocks, in particular to a plunger buffer for rail vehicles which consists of two housing components which can be clamped to one another counter to the force of a spring, are tubular shaped and can be inserted into one another in a telescopic fashion. The object of the invention consists in achieving for the device a simple clamping of the two housing components to one another and a positively locking antitwist protection of the two housing components with respect to one another using a few simple standard components. This goal is achieved in that a longitudinal groove (3) which is limited in length and does not penetrate the outer casing (1a) is arranged on the outside in the outer casing (1a) of the inner housing component (1), in that at least one opening (5) is arranged in the outer casing (2a) of the outer housing component (2) in the region of the longitudinal groove (3) of the inner housing component (1) and in that a positively locking antitwist protection (6) which is connected through the opening (5) to the outer housing component (2) is inserted in the longitudinal groove (3). <IMAGE>
