Ridge beam (2) with a superposed ridge sealing and aerating element (1), has a ridge cap (4) which partially surrounds the ridge beam (2) and to which, on both longitudinal sides, wing parts (5, 6) are connected so as to be angularly adjustable. The ridge cap (4) is provided, on its underside (16) facing the ridge beam (2), with spacers, such as knobs or blocks (17), at intervals and is, in cross- section, a downwardly open rectangular profile with lateral flanks (29) which keep the distance from the sides (28) of the ridge beam (2). Distance webs (12, 13), to the outer edges of which the wing parts (5, 6) are connected so as to be angularly adjustable, project substantially horizontally from the end edges of the lateral flanks (29) of the ridge cap. <IMAGE>

Firstbohle (2) mit aufliegendem Firstabdichtungs- und Belüftungselement (1), mit einem die Firstbohle (2) teilweise umfassenden Firsthelm (4), an den sich zu beiden Längsseiten Flügelteile (5, 6) winkelverstellbar anschließen. Der Firsthelm (4) ist auf seiner der Firstbohle (2) zugewandten Unterseite (16) mit vereinzelten Abstandshaltern, wie Noppen oder Klötze (17), versehen, und ist im Querschnitt ein nach unten offenes Rechteckprofil mit Seitenflanken (29), die Abstand zu den Seiten (28) der Firstbohle (2) halten. Von den den Endkanten der Seitenflanken (29) des Firsthelms stehen Abstandsstege (12, 13) im wesentlichen waagerecht ab, an deren Außenkanten die Flügelteile (5, 6) winkelverstellbar angeschlossen sind.
