[origin: EP0288081A2] A connector screening for electrical connectors, particularly for electrical plug connectors, consists of a metal cap 1 which is matched to the external shape of one or more connectors and can be pushed onto the connector or connectors. A collar 3 projecting from the cable outlet side of the metal cap 1 can make contact with the screening 8 of an electrical cable 7 which is to be connected to the connector 2, the collar shape being matched to the external cable shape. <IMAGE>
