Abstract (en)
[origin: WO8802424A1] The folded fix-on angle bracket (14) is made from a punched sheet. The latter has an upper, triangular suspension portion and two lower overlapping portions (4, 5) which are also triangular in shape. During the folding of the angle bracket (14) the lower triangular portions (4, 5) which form the base plate assume a mutually superimposed position and are seam-welded or spot-welded. The holes (7, 8) located in the lower triangular parts (4, 5) then also lie over one another. The angle bracket (14) can be used universally, e.g. for cross-bracing. It has, in particular, the advantage that it can be made from relatively thin sheet. It can be used, in particular, as a joist shoe, support foot, as well as a general connection-piece for cross-bracing, lattice-work or wooden support structures.
