1. Plastic handle body for cutting tools, in particular knives, the handle body having an insertion shaft in which a fixing section of the cutting tool is held with a flush connection between the cutting tool and the handle body, the insertion shaft, seen in cross-section, having a cross-sectional broadening on each broad side of the shaft spaced away from its two ends, characterized in that the handle body (4) bears lobes (9) at its end face (4"') in the region of the base (8) of each cross-sectional broadening, which lobes are moulded on, protrude over the end face (4"') and, prior to insertion of the fixing section (3), converge in the direction of their free standing part and have a distance between their ends corresponding at least to the width of the insertion shaft, and which lobes (9) lie in place filling the cross-section at the insertion side end of the cross-sectional broadenings (8) after complete introduction of the fixing section (3), means of guiding inwards into the handle.
