[origin: EP0288948A2] The method for producing photopositives, in which a photopaper web of unexposed photopaper passes for exposure through a photoprinter, before the photopaper is developed in a developing machine, is to be improved in such a way that the handling of the not yet developed and fixed photopaper is facilitated and made more economical. According to the invention, the photopaper web is handled in a dark room before being introduced into the photoprinter and then introduced therein, protected from the light, directly from this dark room. The device for carrying out the method is characterised in that the photoprinter is located in the area of the dark room and, for introducing the unexposed photopaper and removing the exposed photo- paper, is accessible from the interior of the dark room.
