Abstract (en)
The setting tool, consisting essentially of a mandrel (1) and an associated ball (3), is screwed into the thread of a fastening element (5) to be set. The ball (3) is held in a receiving space (2a) and serves as a stop which limits the screwing of the setting tool into the fastening element (5). Since the ball (3) forms only a punctual support with the mandrel (1), the friction torque arising when screwing in the fastening element (5) between the ball (3) and the mandrel (1) is very low, so that the setting tool can be unscrewed from the fastening element (5) again without difficulty after the fastening element (5) has been set. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Das im wesentlichen aus einem Dorn (1) und einer damit verbundenen Kugel (3) bestehende Setzwerkzeug wird mit dem Gewinde eines zu setzenden Befestigungselementes (5) verschraubt. Die Kugel (3) ist in einem Aufnahmeraum (2a) gefangen und dient als Anschlag, der das Verschrauben des Setzwerkzeuges mit dem Befestigungselement (5) begrenzt. Da die Kugel (3) mit dem Dorn (1) nur eine punktförmige Auflage bildet, ist das beim Eindrehen des Befestigungselementes (5) entstehende Reibmoment zwischen der Kugel (3) und dem Dorn (1) sehr klein, so dass das Setzwerkzeug nach dem Setzen des Befestigungselementes (5) ohne Mühe wieder vom Befestigungselement (5) losgeschraubt werden kann.
