[origin: US4836746A] The shafts of guide vanes of an axial-flow engine, in particular, a combustion turbine, are supported angle-adjustably in an annular guide vane carrier and are spring-loaded and vibration-damped in their axis directions. An adjustment ring concentric to the flow channel is supported play-free and with low-friction engagement in a groove of a carrier ring by radial and axial rolls. Levers wedged on the guide vane shafts are pivoted by pins in a cylinder bolt, which, in turn, are supported rotatably and displaceably in laterally open bores of the adjustment ring and axis-parallel to it. This permits a largely play-free transfer of the adjustment motion onto the guide vane shafts without point or line contact. The guide vane carrier closes off the groove of the carrier ring so, that the entire mechanism is protected against dust.

Die Schäfte der Leitschaufeln (1) einer Axialströmungsmaschine, insbesondere einer Verbrennungsturbine, sind im ringförmigen Leitschaufelträger (12) winkelverstellbar gelagert und in ihrer Achsrichtung schwingungsdämpfend federbelastet. Ein zum Strömungskanal konzentrischer Verstellring (7) ist in der Nut eines Trägerringes (13) mittels radialer und axialer Rollen (9, 10) spielfrei und reibungsarm gelagert. Auf den Leitschaufelschäften (1a) aufgekeilte Hebel (4) sind mit Stiften (5) drehbar im Zylinderbolzen (6) gelagert, die ihrerseits in seitlich offenen Bohrungen des Verstellrings (7) achsparallel zu diesem drehbar und verschiebbar gelagert sind. Hierdurch wird eine weitgehend spielfreie Übertragung der Verstellbewegung auf die Leitschaufelschäfte ohne Punkt- oder Linienberührung erzielt. Der Leitschaufelträger (12) schließt die Nut des Trägerrings (13) ab, so daß der gesamte Verstellmechanismus staubgeschützt ist.
