1. Swivel handle for doors, flaps or lids of vehicles, consisting of a handle plate (2) which is essentially flush fitted in the associated vehicle surface and which, when in a fixed inoperative position, completely covers an associated handle recess (6) and which, by virtue of a rocker bearing arrangement, can be swivelled, when pressing on an edge zone running at a distance from the swivel axis (22), out of its surface plane into a raised operative position in which it is locked by stopping means to prevent further outward swivelling in the event of a swivel load in the same direction of movement, characterised in that the handle plate (2) can be transferred alternately into opposite operative positions by pressing on two edge zones (15) lying opposite one another, and that the handle plate (2) is detained in the inoperative position and in the two operative positions by means of a locking device, the locking device comprising a locking wheel (19) which is fixed to the handle plate and which cooperates with at least one locking means (locking element 21) fixed to the handle recess.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Handhabe für Türen, Klappen oder Deckel von Fahrzeugen, bestehend aus einer im wesentlichen flächenbündig in die zugeordnete Fahrzeugfläche eingepaßten Griffplatte (2), die in einer fixierten Ruhestellung eine zugehörige Griffmulde vollständig abdeckt, und die aufgrund einer Wippenlagerung beim Drücken auf eine in einem Abstand zur Schwenkachse verlaufende Randzone aus ihrer Flächenebene in eine erhabene Bedienstellung herausschwenkbar ist, in der sie bei Schwenkbelastung in gleicher Bewegungsrichtung durch anschlagende Mittel gegen ein weiteres Herausschwenken gesperrt ist. Um ein Übertragen der Bedienkräfte in beiden Bewegungsrichtungen der Tür, Klappe oder des Deckels zu ermöglichen ist es erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, daß die Schwenkachse mittig zur Griffplatte verläuft, und daß die Griffplatte durch Drücken auf zwei einander gegenüberliegende Randzonen wechselweise in entgegengesetzte Bedienpositionen überführbar ist.
