[origin: EP0289856A2] In a fluid dispenser (1), an outlet valve (13), controlled by an auxiliary piston (14) of a thrust piston pump (2) is provided essentially completely within the piston unit (6), the auxiliary piston (14) running in a shaft section, constructed as a control cylinder (15), of the piston shaft (8) and being constructed itself as a valve closing component of the outlet valve (13), which component is elastically deformed by running up onto rib-like projections (34) in the control valve (15) in such a way that openings for the medium are released. As a result, whilst obtaining a simple construction of the dispensing device there is the possibility of very finely determining the opening characteristic of the outlet valve (13). <IMAGE>
