Examples of the fluid products concerned are emulsions, ointments, creams, mayonnaises or the like. The homogenising machine is designed in the form of a centrifugal homogeniser, the rotor blades (11) being designed in one direction of rotation for optimum homogenising operation and in the opposite direction for optimum pumping operation. Consequently, by simply switching over the direction of rotation of the rotor (1), the homogenising machine can be operated as an effective pump. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Homogenisator für die Herstellung fließfähiger Produkte wie Emulsionen, Salben, Cremes, Mayonnaisen oder dergleichen. Der Homogenisator ist in Form eines Kreiselhomogenisators ausgebildet, wobei die Rotorschaufeln (11) in der einen Drehrichtung für optimalen Homogenisierbetrieb und in der entgegengesetzten Richtung für einen optimalen Pumpbetrieb ausgelegt sind. Durch einfaches Umschalten der Drehrichtung des Rotors (1) kann somit der Homogenisator als wirkungsvolle Pumpe betrieben werden.
