[origin: EP0290104A2] Device to be used for fastening a hanger (57) in a curtain (64) plait, said device comprising a strip (24) extending substantially parallel to the table top (2) of the sewing machine (3), and being provided with means (35,40) for picking up and temporary holding a hanger (57) and means for supporting and moving said strip in such a way that this can be brought sequentially to various positions so that the hanger will come to lie in a curtain plait and below the presser foot (4) of the sewing machine (3) to be sewn to the curtain (64). The related hanger (57) comprises a hook portion (62), a lip (63) connected to it and recesses (67) in the portion connecting the hook (62) and the lip (63).
