Abstract (en)
This mechanism drives a door consisting of two half-doors (3, 4), each half-door comprising two leaves (5, 6) articulated to each other, one (5) of these two leaves being articulated on a fixed vertical axle (9) situated in the vicinity of one of the sides of the opening of the car, whilst the other leaf (6) is guided in terms of translational motion by a roller (10) engaged in a horizontal runner. There is provided, for each half-door (3, 4), a drive disc (11, 12), the vertical axis (11a, 12a) of which is situated on the bisector (13, 14) of the angle (a) of approximately 90 DEG swept by the outer leaf (5) of the half-door (3, 4) in question. The disc (11, 12), situated above the leaf (5), carries a vertical driving finger (15) engaged in a slot (16) which is parallel to the plane of this leaf (5) and is formed in a piece integral with this leaf. <IMAGE>
