[origin: WO8803898A1] A wire tying device for tying a wire-like ribbon about a neck of a bag moved along a path by a conveyor (300). The packaging device includes a bag gathering apparatus (20) including a bag clamp plate (65) positioned adjacent the path of the neck of the bag and a plunger (22) which moves along the path to engage the neck of the bag between the clamping mechanism (120) and a slotted face plate (16) for pulling slack out of a plastic bag and to draw to the bag to a control tension about the product. An improved drive mechanism including coupling (190) smoothly and rapidly accelerates a needle for wrapping a section of wire ribbon around the neck of the bag, a twister hook (215) for twisting the wire, a wire holder-shear (160) for gripping and cutting the wire ribbon and a striper arm (230) for removing the twisted wire from the twister hook.

Dispositif d'attache permettant d'attacher un ruban semblable à un fil métallique autour de l'embouchure d'un sac se déplaçant le long d'un chemin de déplacement à l'aide d'une transporteuse (300). Le dispositif d'emballage comprend un appareil de rassemblement de sacs (20) comprenant une plaque de serrage de sacs (65) positionnée adjacente au chemin de l'embouchure du sac et un plongeur (22) qui se déplace le long du chemin pour coincer l'embouchure du sac entre le mécanisme de serrage (120) et une plaque de face à fente (16) pour tendre le sac en plastique avec une tension prédéterminée.
