[origin: US4804024A] In the fill apparatus, a container feed belt with a lifting frame at the entry end includes container supporting and centering pulleys for displacing the empty container in the horizontal direction by means of alignment pulleys engaging the container rim in order to rotate the container about its longitudinal axis. A first work station arranged above the container includes a rotary disk rotatable about a vertical axis with circumferentially arranged devices participating in the rotary movement of the rotary disk for unscrewing the screw plugs closing the container fill opening, measuring the moisture content and seeking the container's bunghole. A second work station following the first work station includes a filling device. A third work station having a filling device and a following third work station includes devices for screwing the screw plugs on to the container openings and for mounting safety caps. Simultaneous use of the three work stations makes it possible to simultaneously deal with three containers.

Die Abfüllvorrichtung (10) besteht aus einer Behälterzuführbahn (20) mit einem einlaufseitigen Hubrahmen (31) mit Behälterabstütz- und Zentrierrollen zum Verschieben des leeren Behälters (100) in der Waagerechten vermittels an dem Behälterrand angreifender Ausrichtrollen für ein Verdrehen des Behälters um seine Längsachse (31), einer oberhalb des Behälters angeordneten ersten Arbeitsstation (50) mit einer um eine senkrechte Achse verdrehbaren Drehscheibe (72) mit an deren Umfang verteilt angeordneten und an der Drehbewegung der Drehscheibe teilnehmenden Einrichtungen (60,70,80) zum Ausschrauben der die Behältereinfüllöffnung verschliessenden Schraubstopfen, zur Feuchtemessung und zur Spundlochsuche, einer sich der ersten Arbeitsstation (50) anschließenden zweiten Arbeitsstation (250) mit einer Fülleinrichtung (90) und einer nachfolgenden dritten Arbeitsstation (350) mit Einrichtungen (360,370) zum Einschrauben von Schraubstopfen auf die Behälteröffnungen und zum Aufsetzen von Sicherungskappen, wobei drei Behälter gleichzeitig entsprechend bedient werden.
