[origin: EP0290664A1] The invention relates to a two-shaft pump with an expansion chamber (7), with a pair of rotors (5, 6) located in the expansion chamber, with side flanges (3, 4) for the end-face support of the rotors by means of roller or similar bearings (19) and with a drive which engages on one of the rotor end-faces; in order to achieve a more simple construction, it is proposed that, at least in the region of the rotor end-faces, which are located on the side of the pump remote from the drive, essentially pot-shaped structures (8) are provided and that the roller bearings (19) associated with the rotor end-faces are in each case supported on the inner wall of the pot-shaped structure and on a static stump (21) projecting into the pot. <IMAGE>
