1. A hydrogen discharge lamp comprising a lamp bulb of fused silica and a housing arranged therein and containing an anode and cathode with a beam outlet window, characterised in that the cathode comprises composite oxides of barium, calcium, strontium as an emitter material and in that between the inner side of the lamp bulb (2) and the beam outlet window of the housing (3) is arranged a diaphragm (5) permeable to UV light, of which the region permeable to radiation has, at least on its side facing towards the discharge, a surface of borosilicate glass and/or vitreous aluminium oxide.

Eine Wasserstoff-Entladungslampe mit einem Lampenkolben (2) aus Quarzglas sowie einem darin angeordneten, Anode und Kathode enthaltenden Gehäuse (3) mit Strahlaustrittsfenster (4) ist mit einer zwischen dem Strahlaustrittsfenster und der Innenwand des Lampenkolbens angeordneten für UV-Licht durchlässigen Blende (5) versehen; die der Entladung zugekehrte Seite der Blende weist eine Oberfläche aus Borosilikatglas und/oder glasartigem Aluminiumoxid auf.
