Abstract (en)
Preground coal is mixed with water in a tank (1) and is then reduced in a mill (6) to particles of less than 200 microns, preferably 15 microns, then a slurry containing 15% of coal and 85% of water, prepared in a vessel (8) is mixed in a metering pump (12) with a liquid fuel which agglomerates the coal like domestic fuel oil, after which the water which entrains the sterile matter in the coal is removed through a screen (15) and domestic fuel oil is again added with a surface-active agent to obtain a liquid fuel composition with four main components: 40 to 60% coal, 16 to 35% water, 16 to 35% domestic fuel oil, 0.5 to 3% surface-active agent, by weight. <IMAGE>
