[origin: US4845964A] The process and apparatuses for the continuous application of liquors to a moving textile fiber web by the methods of metering roller application or pad mangle application, to be selected and changed-over at will. Elements of one application mode are also used, with other functions, for the other mode. The textile web need not be withdrawn from the apparatus and reintroduced along another path during or after change-over from one mode to the other.

Das Verfahren, bei dem Veredlerflotten kontinuierlich auf eine Textilbahn (20) appliziert werden, besteht darin, dass die Textilbahn kontinuierlich entweder foulardiert oder durch regelbaren Dosierwalzenauftrag behandelt wird, und dass man Elemente der einen Auftragsart auch für die andere Auftragsart benützt. Ausser einer wesentlichen Einsparung von Konstruktionselementen wird in der Regel ein Umschalten von der einen auf die andere Applikationsmethode ohne Einzugsänderung der Textilbahn erreicht. Mehrere entsprechende Vorrichtungen werden angegeben.
