[origin: EP0290827A2] In order to mount an electrical plug connector on printed-circuit boards, it is proposed to insert mounting parts, having tubular, metallic pegs in lateral supporting and mounting flanges, in cut-outs in the flanges. On insertion of the plug connector into the printed-circuit board, the pegs fit into correspondingly arranged and dimensioned holes. It is provided that the pegs inherently produce a clamping mounting of the plug connector onto the printed-circuit board and that the final mounting of the plug connector takes place by soldering the peg to the printed-circuit board metallisation. A further configuration provides that the pegs have a first, tubular region on which spring tongues are formed. The spring tongues are provided with a bend so that latching shoulders are formed which, on insertion of the pegs into a printed-circuit board hole, latch behind the underside of the printed-circuit board. In a further embodiment of the mounting device, it is proposed that the mounting parts be provided with a contact strap which are electrically conductively connected to a possibly provided metallic housing of the plug connector. <IMAGE>
