[origin: JPS6428479A] PURPOSE: To improve over consumption energy for drying the selvedge of continuously advancing flat material and the limit of production speed by an arrangement wherein two lips, parallel to each other and to the median plane, extends on either side of an all along the slot. CONSTITUTION: A textile 10 previously passes through a padding machine where it is impregnated with processing bath and squeezed mechanically. Moisture content of a selvedge 11 is about 86%. Before entering into a tension frame, the textile 10 is introduced such that the selvedge 11 enters into a slot between lips 5. A drawn-n selvedge 11 is located on the inside of a guide 1 in the maximum field area. The device is located in the passage of textile between the outlet of the padding machine and the inlet of the tension frame. An aspirator 9 is operating when the textile is dried in the guide 1. Steam produced on the inside of the guide 1 through action of microwave is entirely sucked through an orifice 6 toward a suction room 7 thence extracted therefrom through a conduit 8.

Le dispositif comprend un guide d'onde (1) préférentiellement rectangulaire dont une extrémité est terminée par un court-circuit (3) et l'autre par un coude (4) de raccordement au générateur (2). La partie extérieure du coude (AB), la face contigue du guide (BC) et le court-circuit (CD) sont fendus d'une fente unique, pratiquée selon le plan médian, par laquelle est introduite la lisière (11) du matériau (10) à l'intérieur du guide (1). La face du guide opposée à la fente comporte des orifices (6) reliés par l'intermédiaire d'une chambre (7) à une source d'aspiration (9).Deux lèvres (5) parallèles entre elles et au plan médian s'étendent de part et d'autre et tout le long de la fente ; leurs extrémités forment un léger évasement. Ces lèvres forment guide à la coupure et facilitent l'introduction de la lisière (11) dans le guide (1).
