[origin: EP0291499A2] A device (1) for fabricating spacing frames (44) by bending hollow profile strips comprises two bending heads (12) which are arranged so as to be displaceable along a plate (10). In order to insert hollow profile strips into a clamp (13) and the bending heads (12) from a means (20) for conveying hollow profile strips, a gripper (30) is provided in the plane of symmetry of the clamp (13). Provided at that edge of the plate (10) of the bending device (1) which is opposite the bending heads (12) is a transport carriage (50) which transports the hollow profile strips which are bent to form a spacing frame (44) to a transfer device (60) which raises the spacing frames (44) transported thereto from the plate (10) and passes them to a welding apparatus (5) for welding the free ends (45) of the hollow profile strip bent to form a spacing frame (44). In order to move hollow profile strips which are bent to form a spacing frame (44) along the plate (10) to the transport carriage (50), there is provided a conveying means (41, 42). <IMAGE>
