Abstract (en)
In the production of yarn by the open-end spinning process, a sliver is opened by an opening roller, equipped with card clothing, and the fibres are singularised by combing out of the sliver. The opening roller rotates in a housing. It is state of the art to assemble the housing and also the intake trough, which is necessary only for feeding the sliver, from individual parts. The gaps between the parts can trap fibres which in turn catch subsequent fibres. The formation of fibre clumps, and also clumps which have torn loose, cause yarn faults. The production of yarn faults caused in that way is avoided when the intake trough (8) forms part of the housing (1) of the opening roller (2), the housing (1) being constructed as a single component at least from the intake trough (8) to the opening (18) for leading the fibres (13) into the duct (19) which leads to the spinning element. Bei der Herstellung von Garn nach dem Offen-End-Spinnverfahren wird ein Faserband durch eine mit einer Garnitur bestückten Auflösewalze aufgelöst und die Fasern durch Auskämmen aus dem Faserband vereinzelt. Die Auflösewalze rotiert in einem Gehäuse. Stand der Technik ist es, das Gehäuse sowie die nur Zuführung des Faserbandes erforderliche Einzugsmulde aus Einzelteilen zusammenzufügen. In den Fugen zwischen den Bauteilen können sich Fasern festsetzen, in denen sich nachfolgende Fasern verfangen. Die Bildung von Faserflocken sowie losgerissene Flocken verursachen Garnfehler. Das Entstehen solcherart verursachter Garnfehler wird dadurch vermieden, daß die Einzugsmulde (8) Teil des Gehäuses (1) der Auflösewalze (2) ist, wobei das Gehäuse (1) mindestens von der Einzugsmulde (8) bis zur Öffnung (18) zur Ausleitung der Fasern (13) in den Faserleitkanal (19) zum Spinnorgan einteilig ausgebildet ist. Das Gehäuse (1) und die Einzugswalze (8) sind relativ zueinander beweglich angeordnet.
