[origin: EP0292461A1] To maintain the alignment of warp yarns approaching the shed of a weaving loom, the loom is provided with a mobile guide roll for imparting a longitudinal reciprocating motion to the yarns. Pref. the motion is integrated with that of a knotting device and a clamp in conjunction with tying on of successive arrays of yarns to repair individual breaks in response to a break-detector.
