[origin: EP0292595A1] A ventilation chamber (6) provides a constant connection between the pane gap (1), at least at one lower corner of the spacer profile (2), and the outer atmosphere, to which the insulating multiple glazing is exposed. As a result, air enters the pane gap at the lower corner of the pane, rises inside the pane gap by means of natural convection and leaves the pane gap again at the upper corner. <IMAGE>
