[origin: EP0292611A2] The broom, scrubber, brush or the like has a bristle body which is provided at least partially with bristle fittings, there being provided in the bristle body blind holes (17), in which bristle bundles (16) are held in each case by means of a wire loop (22) surrounding their respective foot, the ends of which wire loop are pressed into the bristle body. In order to achieve the smallest possible wall thickness of the bristle body, that is to say to reduce the amount of material required for the bristle body, the latter is provided in the region of the bristle fittings on its outside (18) with a wall portion (14) which consists of a softer material than a basic body (12) of the bristle body situated below it. The blind holes (17) extend with their end portion into the basic body (12). The loops (22) are arranged in each case partially in the wall portion (14) of softer material and are pressed laterally into said wall portion. <IMAGE>
