Abstract (en)
The process for dyeing with leuco vat ester dyes comprises padding with a vanadate-containing aqueous solution of the dye and overpadding for development with an aqueous liquor which contains oxalic acid or a peroxodisulphate. The process avoids the otherwise customary use of sodium nitrite for developing the dyes.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Färben mit Leukoküpenfarbstoffen, bei dem eine wäßrige Lösung des Farbstoffes, die ein Vanadat enthält, auf die Ware geklotzt wird und zur Entwicklung mit einer wäßrigen Flotte überklotzt wird, die Oxalsäure oder ein Peroxodisulfat enthält. Mit dem Verfahren wird die sonst übliche Verwendung von Natriumnitrit zur Entwicklung der Farbstoffe vermieden.
